Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under supervision.
• Assists in health and psychiatric teaching for patient and family.
• Participates in planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
• Records medications accurately and documents effects and adverse effects.
• Communicates with medical staff and other departments to ensure quality patient care.
• Monitors vital signs and basic labs; assists in emergencies as needed.
