Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a registered nurse to provide advanced, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team. You will assess, treat, educate, and support patients and families throughout their care journey.

The position requires ADN with BSN preferred, RN licensure, and CPR/BLS certification within 90 days. Two 8-hour day shifts and a days schedule are offered, including opportunities for mentoring and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• Licensed as an RN in state of practice.
• Approved CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures.
• Perform assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care as prescribed by Physician and/or clinic policy.
