Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to safely and effectively operate heavy mobile equipment, particularly front-end loaders.
• Strong safety awareness with the ability to recognize hazards and follow established safety procedures.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and identify basic mechanical or maintenance concerns.
• Dependable team player with effective communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work safely in an active sand and gravel operation while adapting to changing production priorities and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-end loader to load haul trucks and move materials around the site.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain stockpiles, haul roads, pit areas and work zones to support safe operations.
• Monitor material quality and production needs while minimizing losses and contamination.
• Follow all safety procedures and site operating practices.
