Job summary

Northwestern Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant for the Progressive Care Unit on the day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, full-time (72 hours bi-weekly) at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, Vermont.

The role includes direct patient care, phlebotomy and ECG responsibilities after training, and some clerical tasks within the unit. Qualifications include Vermont LNA licensure, high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent with a current LNA license in Vermont.
• Experience: Hospital setting experience preferred for LNA duties.
• Certifications: BLS required.
• Knowledge: Basic medical terminology and ability to communicate clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Obtain and report vital signs and patient data.
• Perform phlebotomy and ECG when trained and needed.
• Maintain EMR documentation and unit clerical duties.
• Support unit operations and patient/family interaction as needed.
