Job summary

Dawson Manor Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support daily linen and clothing needs in a compassionate, mission-driven environment. You will fold, sort, launder, and prepare residents' clothing while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Starting pay is $14.20/hour with weekly pay and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. Join a team focused on high-quality care and respect for residents.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with associates, patients, families and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Folds and sorts clothes.
• Hangs clothes on racks by name/number.
• Ensures clothes are ready to wear; repairs as needed.
• Handles soaps/bleaches properly per MSDS.
• Follows chemical safety procedures.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens.
• Keeps laundry equipment clean and maintained.
• Sweeps and mops laundry area.
• Empties washers/dryers on request.
• Cleans and disinfects linen carts as needed.
• Performs stain removal as required.
• Supports team and committees and upholds the System's image.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support operations.
