Dawson Manor Health & Rehab is hiring for a full-time Laundry Aide on the day shift. You will fold, sort, and prepare clothes and linens, run laundry cycles, and ensure garments are ready for patients with careful attention to safety and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can read instructions, follow procedures, and communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families. This role supports the facility’s mission of compassionate care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety instructions and procedures.
• Basic math skills for counting and inventory.

Mansioni

• Folds and sorts clothes.
• Hangs clothes on racks by name and numbers.
• Ensures clothes are ready to wear and repairs put in proper place.
• Follows MSDS precautions for chemicals used.
• Washes and dries clothes and linens.
• Keeps equipment clean and follows cleaning schedules.
• Cleans and disinfects linen carts as requested.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support operations.
