Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The role is flexible to meet each building’s specifications and requires attention to detail and reliability.

Mon-Sun schedule from 6a–11a totaling 35 hours per week. On-site work in a commercial setting with entry-level training provided. This is a great chance to join a leading facilities services company with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or six months janitorial experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn safety and cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; operate waste handling equipment when needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to housekeeping schedules and routines.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per customer needs.
