Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and upkeep inside client sites. The role supports a variety of facilities with flexible shifts, including full-time and part-time options.

You’ll follow established cleaning procedures, use cleaning chemicals safely, and help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment for occupants and visitors. Compensation is $12 per hour with a 35-hour work week schedule, typically Mon-Sun 6am-11am; prior janitorial experience is

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months janitorial experience.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
Empty trash and use of compactor for certain materials.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
Follow housekeeping schedule.
Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
