Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to different client specifications and shifts, with a focus on reliable, quality cleaning services.

The position offers steady work, with a schedule of Monday through Sunday from 6am to 11am totaling 35 hours per week. A high school diploma or equivalent and attention to detail are required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or six months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and use of compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers).
• Assist with other duties as required by the scope of work or client needs.
