Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The role requires flexibility to meet client specifications and maintain a clean environment across facilities.

Compensation is $14 per hour with a 35-hour workweek, typically Monday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 11:00 am. On-the-job training is provided, and prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of janitorial experience
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• On-the-job training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming)
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal; use of compactors when needed
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet maintenance
• Replenish paper products and supplies; follow housekeeping schedule
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by scope of work or client needs
