Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple client sites. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may require up to six months of janitorial experience.

Training will be provided on the job, with duties including floor care, restroom maintenance, and trash removal. The role offers a daytime schedule Sunday through Saturday, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of janitorial experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for use of cleaners and equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances; empty trash.
• Clean windows and glass; spot-clean carpets and assist in carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies; follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed; perform other duties per client needs.
