Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role focuses on all‑purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple sites. Pay is $14 per hour with a schedule of 6a-11a, Monday through Friday totaling 35 hours per week.

You will perform cleaning tasks, follow chemical and equipment procedures, and adapt to client specifications. The position offers on‑site work with opportunities for growth within a leading facilities maintenance provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or minimum six months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs.
