Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all‑purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside buildings or multiple client sites. The position requires flexibility to meet client specifications and may involve varying duties across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
