Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and basic preservation for client sites. The role covers floor care, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, and general housekeeping tasks across assigned facilities.

The position offers $14 per hour with a 35-hour work week (Mon-Sun, 6am–11am), on-site at multiple sites. A HS diploma or 6 months janitorial experience is welcomed; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cleaning environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and assist with waste disposal.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors as required.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet cleaning tasks.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to housekeeping schedule and safety requirements.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed and perform other duties.
