Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and basic preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. Flexibility is needed to perform duties per each client's specifications.

The role offers a $12 per hour wage with a 35-hour weekly schedule, typically Mon-Sun 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. On-the-job training is provided, and applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent or up to six months of janitorial experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in a janitorial-type position is acceptable.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas; empty trash and dispose properly.
