Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or across client sites. The role requires flexibility to meet client specifications and offers weekly pay at $12/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties across multiple sites if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly; use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the client or supervisor.
