Job summary

Vestis® is hiring for an industrial laundry position in Caspian, MI. You will handle towels, napkins, tablecloths, and aprons, ensure proper feeding on the ironer, and verify counts and quality throughout shifts.

Work is in a warehouse environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise. Requires stamina for standing and repetitive motions, plus lifting up to 300 lbs on carts. High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Strong basic math and measurement skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Stages and feeds merchandise on the ironer to reduce wrinkling.
• Receives and folds merchandise from the ironer.
• Identifies and segregates items not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, stains).
• Verifies quantity and bundles by type; places bundles in storage carts.
• Operates and maneuvers carts; maintains a safe, clean work environment.
• Overtime may be required; weekend shifts possible.
