Job summary

Vestis is hiring for an industrial laundry operative in Caspian, MI. You will stage, feed, and process towels, napkins, tablecloths, and aprons on an ironer, ensuring smooth operation and reduced wrinkling. The role requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and solid communication abilities. Weekend work and overtime may be required, with a 5am–1:30pm shift on weekdays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stages and feeds merchandise on ironer to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receives and folds merchandise from ironer.
• Identifies items not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verifies quantity and bundles by type; moves bundles to storage carts.
• Manoeuvres carts, maintains a safe/clean work environment.
• Occasional additional duties as assigned.
