Job summary

NSG Group - Pilkington North America is seeking an Inventory Control candidate for the 1st shift at the Columbus Depot in Urbancrest, OH. Responsibilities include shipping/receiving architectural glass, picking/packing, and using motorized equipment with on-board computers to ensure accuracy and inventory control.

Qualifications include 2 years in materials handling equipment, ability to lift up to 70 lb, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2 years proficient in Materials Handling Equipment (platform cherry picker, sit down forklift).
• Able to lift 35-45 pounds, up to 70 pounds daily.
• Work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Able to work in outdoor-like temperatures within the facility.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Interact professionally with service centers and quality techs to resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent attendance.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Attend off-shift meetings.
• Computer programs experience.

Responsibilities

• Research Daily Insufficient Product Report and Discrepancy Report.
• Manage damaged open pick glass disposal.
• Daily cycle counts and velocity code documentation.
• Maintain sample parts for purchasing and sample area maintenance.
• Provide adjustment verifications to Distribution Center Management daily.
