Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician based in Tolleson, AZ. The day shift runs 6:00am - 2:00pm, with starting pay of $40.00/hr to $43.00/hr.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of production equipment, building systems and control circuits. Responsibilities include following safety procedures, reading schematics, performing preventative maintenance, installing electrical components and training operators.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in electrical related field is a plus.
• A minimum of five years industrial maintenance electrician experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical and electronic control systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications for equipment layouts.
• Install, replace or repair wiring, conduits, lighting and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Assist and train production employees in operation and maintenance of machinery.
