Job summary

Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX, seeks a Hospital Maintenance Technician I to join our facilities team. You will perform maintenance and repair across mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems to keep the hospital safe and operational.

The role requires logging activities, responding to incidents, and driving as needed for hospital business. This is a full-time, Day shift position in a healthcare environment committed to quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
• Valid current state driver's license.
• Minimum 0-1 years healthcare experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
• Maintenance and repair of equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant systems, and medical gas.
• Driving as needed for company business.
