Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee is seeking an Environmental Services Worker (Housekeeper) for 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This full-time role requires availability every other weekend and offers benefits.

You will clean patient rooms and general areas across the health system, following infection control guidelines to maintain high cleanliness standards. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows safety signage and instructions.
• Customer service driven with ability to interact with patients and staff.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning agents safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and general spaces following infection control procedures.
• Maintain flooring care: cleaning, buffing, and applying sealant/finish.
• Vacuum, shampoo and extract carpets as needed.
• Use power equipment and hand tools for floors, walls, carpets and furniture.
• Restock cleaning supplies and assist with waste collection and biomedical waste handling.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to management.
