MercyOne is hiring an Environmental Services Tech to clean patient rooms and public areas at MercyOne Northeast Iowa in Waterloo. You will help maintain a clean, sanitary environment and support hospital operations in a high-demand setting.

Requires clear English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently with a professional image. Full-time day shift, with rotation, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient/resident rooms to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Clean administrative and support areas.
• Perform special tasks to keep work areas neat and ready.
• Keep equipment and carts clean, organized and functional.
• Contribute to safety, security and efficiency of the department.
• Demonstrate proper floor cleaning procedures and equipment care.
