Day-Shift General Laborer – Production & Safety

Job summary

Standex International, a global industrial growth company, operates through Spincraft and other brands. The General Laborer supports production with material handling, machine operation assistance, logistics and housekeeping in the Wisconsin shop.

Schedule is 7:00AM-3:30PM. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience preferred, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have reliable transportation to work in a noisy, dusty environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic shop operations including sandblasting, washing parts, trimming, and assisting with material handling.
• Assist Shipping & Receiving with packaging and crating of product.
• Move supplies to workstations using forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Maintain and clean production areas, and perform routine housekeeping.
• Document actions in production and quality logs as needed.
• Operate robotic cells and participate in SQDC improvement efforts.
