Job summary

Colonial Group in Madison, WI is seeking a warehouse-style laundry associate working 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri, with overtime as needed. Pay is $17.37/hour. You will prepare work stations, hang and dress shirts and pants, inspect for repairs, and maintain an orderly, safe workspace on site at MC#614 Madison WI.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and with a team in a noisy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good verbal and/or written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares their work station.
• Transfers hangers from hanger rack to hanger aid and dresses shirts.
• For pants, performs the hanging process including waist stretch and crease alignment.
• Identifies merchandise needing repairs and notes items for repair.
• Ensures garments are placed on an open conveyor pick.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
