Job summary

Rea Magnet Wire is seeking an experienced forklift operator for our Fort Wayne facility. You will move stock wire, finished product, and packaging materials, supporting production and shipping workflows with precision.

The role requires standing on a 12-hour night shift, operating a stand-up forklift, and maintaining accurate inventory while complying with safety policies. Opportunities for growth exist within a cell-based manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required: at least 2 years in production settings.
• Knowledge of safety, distribution, and manufacturing best practices.
• Mechanical and hands-on experience with basic hand tools and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift to deliver stock wire and finished wire to production lines.
• Arrange pallets and reels in high-bay racking system; assist with shipping/receiving.
• Receive items, process paperwork, and deliver to appropriate areas.
