Central Power Systems & Services is hiring a Material Handler-Forklift Operator in Platte City, MO. The role ensures materials and parts are available for production, with fast-paced warehouse duties and strict emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The position handles receiving, organizing, labeling, stocking, and transporting parts using forklifts, while supporting cycle counts and ERP-driven inventory management in a growing generator manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Experience with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and inventory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and maintain inventory to support efficient production operations.
• Accurately store materials and components in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull and stage materials for manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Support production by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time.
• Load, unload, move, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Create and apply labels to ensure proper identification and traceability of materials.
• Package materials and products for shipment.
• Process returns and maintain supporting documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Partner with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams to resolve material issues and support operational goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support team members and assist with special projects as needed
