Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift (6:00am - 2:00pm) in Texas. You will load, transport, and stage products within the warehouse using various forklifts, and process pick tickets to complete orders.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years forklift experience in a warehouse, plus the ability to obtain certification and follow safety procedures; physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs in a temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment, including dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and forklifts to load and transport products within the warehouse.
• Complete orders by processing pick tickets, performing full pallet picking, and shuttling pallets for final order processing.
• Interact with management software systems and label printers; read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Perform physical activities requiring lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and safe material handling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning parts to and from locations; keep work area clean and safe.
• Support cross-training in other distribution center functions, perform daily forklift inspections, and carry out other duties.
