Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a material handling associate responsible for operating forklift equipment and transporting components and finished goods.
The role emphasizes maintaining inventory accuracy, setting up production lines, and ensuring schedule attainment through RF-driven tracking and thorough inspections. Responsibilities include right-sizing inventory, daily safety and 6S practices, and cross-training across locations.
Performs semi‑skilled work in operating a variety of material handling equipment in the transporting of component parts and finished goods. Responsible for setting up production lines while maintaining inventory accuracy by scanning parts to and from proper locations. Further duties include maintaining assigned forklift, reporting any maintenance or damage to equipment, right‑sizing and processing inventory, and providing material handling support for production lines to ensure schedule attainment.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. (Case‑by‑case review)
Must be able to work in a factory environment.
