Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Northlake, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator on 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm) at $20.31 per hour to load and transport products in the warehouse using dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks and forklifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years forklift experience, and the ability to obtain forklift certification. You will work with scanners, maintain inventory accuracy, and support cross-training in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years forklift operation experience in a warehouse.
• Ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Broad knowledge of distribution center methods and procedures.
• Familiarity with product catalog numbers and handling characteristics.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and accuracy expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and forklifts.
• Process orders by picking and shuttling pallets for final order processing.
• Interact with management software, label printers, and work orders.
• Perform lifting, walking, bending and safe material handling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and keep the area clean and safe.
• Support cross-training and daily forklift inspections.
