Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a forklift distribution associate in Jasper, AL. The role involves loading and unloading trailers, and setting up/breaking down racking systems to meet deadlines.

Candidate must read and understand computer printouts; overtime may be required. Prior forklift experience is preferred, and the environment is climate controlled with additional benefits targeted at employees.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).
• The ability to use handheld tools such as: Hand bander, Hand scanner, Hammer, Prybar.
• Standing: Frequently

• Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Frequently

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck trailers to meet deadlines.
• Set up and breakdown of the racking system.
• Read and understand computer printouts to accurately load/unload.
• Work overtime as required.
