Job summary

Aerotek in Sumner, WA is seeking a Forklift Operator for a quiet, daytime warehouse environment. You will operate forklifts and cherry pickers to accurately pick, pack, and pull orders, supporting daily warehouse operations on a single daytime shift.

You will handle materials safely, maintain order accuracy, and contribute to an efficient workflow on a 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule, with emphasis on safety and documentation. Prior warehouse and equipment operation experience is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Experience using cherry picker equipment for order picking.
• Demonstrated ability in order picking, order pulling, and picking and packing tasks.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when handling orders and inventory.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and SOPs.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cherry pickers safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking and order pulling with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and documentation.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory locations to support efficient order fulfillment.
• Follow all warehouse safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including staging, labeling, and organizing products.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift.
