Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors. This role involves routine cleaning of resident rooms and common areas following facility procedures and safety rules.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, adherence to PPE and chemical handling guidelines, and collaboration with the Maintenance Director for inspections and surveys.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare environment in Environmental Services preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills required.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily following facility procedures.
• Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors and waxed floors per schedules.
• Disposes of trash and waste following facility policies.
