Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin and Illinois is seeking a skilled registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team in Lake Geneva, WI. You will administer prescribed medications, perform nursing assessments, and develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requires ADN with BSN preferred, and an active RN license with CPR/BLS; Illinois continued education requirements apply.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
Licensed as an RN in the state of practice; CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments per procedures and state laws.
Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
Documents according to standards of care.
Develops and executes a patient plan of care including patient/family instruction.
Provides patient education and engages family as needed.
Participates in performance improvement activities and district practice decisions.
