Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Fleet & Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a Masardis, ME operation. The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of a diverse fleet of trucks, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment, with pay between $27.00 and $30.00 per hour and a temp-to-hire path.

Schedule is Monday to Friday days, with shift work possible, and experience in diesel/heavy equipment is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and fleet vehicles.
• Trade certification, associate degree, apprenticeship, or military technical training; Maine State Inspection Technician License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment and vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Complete and maintain maintenance records using a computerized work order system.
