Job summary

Cust-O-Fab in Sand Springs, OK seeks experienced fitters to join a manufacturing team. You will read blueprints and AutoCAD drawings, fit and assemble metal components for heat exchangers, vessels and towers, and perform thermal cutting and tack welding on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience fitting pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or similar industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and AutoCAD drawings.
• Ability to read dimensions and specifications and follow codes.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements on the shop floor.
• Read blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and specifications.
• Fit and assemble metal components for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and towers.
• Perform thermal cutting with oxyfuel torches and Plas-Arc equipment.
• Perform tack welding in accordance with codes and procedures.
• Maintain quality and timeframes for assigned work.
