Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Hanahan, SC to perform diverse maintenance tasks on production and facility equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery while following safety and preventive maintenance processes.

The role requires hands‑on mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills, with experience reading drawings and a strong focus on safety. This is a day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:30pm, and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience reading simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree, vocational training or equivalent education and experience in product maintenance.
• Active Journeyman license.
• 2 years of facility maintenance experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
• Experience using drawings and diagrams to coordinate installation and equipment components.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain a wide variety of facility equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of plant layout and safety policies.
• Maintain facilities infrastructure across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical work.
• Install, repair and replace plumbing fixtures and clear obstructions.
• Assist in implementing new processes and equipment.
• Process products requiring testing and mechanical evaluation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document activities.
