Job summary

Timken is seeking a Fabricator/Welder for the Princeton, WV site on a dayshift. You will support the shop by assembling machinery frames and performing weld repairs to meet specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years of welding/fabricating experience, the ability to read blueprints and follow quality procedures, and certification readiness. Timken offers competitive pay, full benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of Fabricating/Welding experience required.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Must be able to perform welds per customer specifications and maintain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Train and test for welding certifications as required.
• Process work orders in weld shop and other departments per quality guidelines.
• Fabricate using TIG, MIG, stick welding; restack stator iron; rebar rotors.
• Maintain material traceability and quality control per system requirements.
• Read drawings, sketches, and GD&T; provide feedback to engineering to resolve issues.
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to meet production demands.
