Atkore is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator for the Day Shift in Dallas, TX. The role requires extrusion experience in plastics manufacturing and involves reading production schedules, making precise adjustments, and recording measurements for pipe production.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting the strapping machine, performing changeovers on small and medium-diameter pipes, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extrusion experience in a plastics manufacturing environment required.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Read and understand the production schedule and ensure it is followed.
• Adjust controls to meet specified measurements and diameters; record hourly pipe readings (weights, wall thickness, diameter, length).
• Reject products not meeting specifications.
• Troubleshoot the strapping machine.
• Perform changeovers and start-ups on small to medium-diameter pipes.
