Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator for our plant in Oklahoma. You will load materials, monitor equipment, and support site operations while maintaining safety and efficiency during mid-shift hours.

You must be able to work independently, follow procedures, and communicate with the crew to keep material flow steady. Prior heavy equipment experience and basic mechanical knowledge are preferred; willingness to work at multiple locations is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate excavators to load raw materials into portable crushing equipment
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation
• Assist with plant setup, relocation, and breakdown as needed
• Communicate with team members to maintain efficient material flow
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures on site; Mid Shift Hours: 11am - 9pm

• Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required to operate controls and inspect equipment
• Tolerance for working in dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots
