Job summary

Lynx EMS in West Virginia is seeking a Day Shift EMT to provide emergency and non-emergency medical transport across the region. You will participate in hospital discharges, interfacility transfers, and on-site patient care with a focus on safety and professionalism.

The role requires current EMT certification, a valid driver's license, and strong clinical judgment. You will operate and maintain ambulances, document assessments, and communicate with dispatch and facilities.

Qualifications

• Current State EMT Certification (or reciprocity eligible).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with state and company protocols.
• Safely operate and maintain assigned ambulance and equipment.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurate documentation.
• Ensure the ambulance unit is clean, stocked, and deployment-ready at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and team members.
• Uphold safety standards and compliance regulations.
