Job summary

Crown North America is seeking full-time Automotive Installers to join the Day Shift (6:00am to 2:30pm) in Hammond, IN. You will install equipment to modify brand-new police and emergency vehicles, read electrical schematics, and work in an industrial setting with physical duties.

Ideal candidates have experience with automotive electrical and mechanical systems, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble factory vehicles.
• Read electrical schematics and drawings with limited help.
• Work in an industrial environment with heavy physical duties.
• Overtime may be required.
• Maintain shop and work bay cleanliness.
• Possess own basic set of tools; time to purchase if needed after hire.
