Job summary

Grace is seeking a day shift Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Manufacturing team at the Chicago site. You will maintain, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair low, medium, and high voltage electrical and instrumentation systems in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires reading electrical schematics and P&IDs, adherence to NFPA 70, 70E, and 86, safe work practices, and collaboration with maintenance, operations, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in an industrial setting.
• Must meet 1st Class Instrumentation & Electrician Technician classification requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and loop sheets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair LV, MV, and HV electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Read electrical schematics, conduit schedules, P&IDs, and equipment drawings.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to keep equipment reliable.
• Configure, set up, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Work safely per NFPA 70, 70E, and 86; follow training and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and operations for outages and repairs.
