Job summary

Premium Guard, Inc. is seeking a Dock Coordinator in Hebron, KY to process outgoing shipments (LTL) and support loading/unloading operations. The role requires a High School Diploma or 2 years of warehouse distribution experience, with strong communication and attention to detail.

The position is on the 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with potential overtime. Experience with MS Excel and MS Word is preferred, and forklift operation is required for staging of pallets.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED is required or 2 years’ warehouse distribution experience.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Strong attention to detail with alpha-numeric data and knowledge of key corporate systems (ERP, WMS) is required.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading/unloading freight.
Act as second set of eyes to ensure correct freight is loaded in proper location and time.
Monitor loading quality of all trailers and ensure out cut times are met.
Coordinate with supervisor to ensure timely trailer swaps.
Assist with organizing freight, information, and people to maximize efficiency and minimize duplication.
Support closeout preparation of a trailer and ensure pallets are accounted for before shipping.
Operate forklift for staging and loading.
