Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks a Custodian in Lehi, UT to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. Responsibilities include janitorial duties, handling hazardous waste tasks, operating cleaning equipment, and following all safety policies.

The role requires willingness to train, read and follow instructions, and communicate professionally with team members and supervisors. Shift runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, at $16/hour with benefits from SBM.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
