Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas across client sites. The role requires flexibility to follow each site’s specifications while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

This position offers $16 per hour with shifts Mon-Sun 6a-11a, and opportunities for growth within a leader in commercial cleaning, landscaping, and restoration services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Must have attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and other surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste as required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet maintenance.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to housekeeping schedules and operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client’s scope of work.
