Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking a full-time Custodian for a day shift in Momence, IL. The role involves cleaning offices, restrooms, break areas, and warehouse spaces, with routine housekeeping tasks and sanitation to support food safety and audits.

You will maintain cleaning logs, replenish supplies, and follow safety protocols while working with a team and adapting to changing priorities. No prior experience required, 3–6 months preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required; 3–6 months janitorial, custodial, or sanitation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and janitorial practices, cleaning methods, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of offices, restrooms, break areas, locker rooms, hand wash stations, warehouse spaces, and other common areas throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, remove debris, clean spills, sanitize surfaces, wash windows, and perform routine housekeeping tasks according to schedules.
• Support food safety, quality, and audit requirements by completing supplemental cleaning and sanitation activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate cleaning records and logs and monitor supplies; replenish as needed.
