Unidine in Kirkwood, MO is hiring a full-time COOK for Bethesda Gardens. Shift is 9:30 am to 6:30 pm; days may vary. 1 year of prior scratch cooking in a restaurant setting is required.

This role offers no late nights, staff meals, holiday pay, and PTO. Pay range is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. You will prepare and serve meals, follow HACCP standards, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior scratch cooking in a restaurant setting required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Maintains cleanliness and organizes work area, stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
