Job summary

RAE Corporation is seeking a Day Supervisor – Coil Shop to lead the day shift in the Coil Department. You will direct Supervisors and Team Leaders to meet production schedules, monitor safety, and drive cost-effective operations. You will partner with EHS, Engineering, Scheduling, and Maintenance to resolve issues and improve flow.

The role emphasizes accountability, coaching, and engagement of frontline leaders, with focus on quality and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical coursework preferred.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience managing large teams and multiple production areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to Assistant Supervisors and Team Leaders to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead safety compliance efforts with the EHS department to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor throughput, scrap rates, and labor utilization to achieve KPIs.
• Coach and develop frontline leaders through performance discussions.
• Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the department.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Scheduling, and Maintenance to resolve production issues.
