Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a CNC Programmer I for Ditch Witch in Kentucky. The role involves preparing machine tool programs for CNC machines, creating programs and operating machines during prove-out, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability.

The position requires a high school diploma, 3 years machining experience or 2 years technical training, knowledge of CAM/CAD and GD&T a plus, strong computer skills, and the ability to work overtime and in a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years machining experience or 2 years technical training in metal cutting technologies required.
• Knowledge of CAM and CAD; GD&T experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze technical information from sources and drawings.
• Create CNC programs and operate CNC machines during prove-out.
• Create lists of tools and fixtures for production and prototyping.
• Present technical information to individuals and groups.
• Create and maintain documentation of CNC programs.
